It's that time of the week again... the weekend!
During the week I can be a bit boring and stick to my jeans and a nice top (when I'm not at work), but I'm not always one for wearing a dress or skirt- maybe it's my inner tomboy being defiant. But when it comes to going out in the evening I do like to play dress up; it would seem a shame to waste all the beautiful Karen Millen dresses I have aquired from work. So I am currently pondering on what to wear tomorrow night. I'll have been at work all day, styling the many women of Nottingham and gossiping with the girlies on the shop floor, and I will be ready for a drink. My lovely man friend (he's a bit older so I call him manfriend instead of boyfriend beacuse I'm just that clever) is taking me out for dinner and I'm very much looking forward to it. BUT WHAT TO WEAR?!
I have been the recipient of a slightly pouty lip when I have turned up for a night on the town in my jeans; what is it about men and girl's legs? After looking through the old wardrobe I have realised that I do not possess the prefect date night dress. But then does such a thing exist? Do you go short or long? Black or colour? Sexy or classy? I think I need to find and invest in an LBD. Now I have many of these little babies in my wardrobe but they're either full on evening gowns or slightly-too-day day dresses. I need, and I think every girl needs, a cute, sassy LBD. I must seek one out in my lunch break tomorrow! And the matching handbag ;)
Enjoy your weekends everyone!
I'll keep you posted x
